This former small farm (quinta in Portuguese) in a valley called puerto largo (wide harbour) has been renovated into a spacious and comfortable home. Apart from a large kitchen and living room, the house has four bedrooms, three bathrooms, and plenty of outdoor space to enjoy the shade or kick a ball around.
There is a large private pool, perfect for cooling down after a day of exploring nearby towns, Algarve’s beaches or cycling in the mountains.

Whether southern shore beach life, western shore surf life, cycling, hiking, small town visits, or just chilling by the pool is your thing, you can find it all in Monchique.

The house is located in Algarve’s stunning mountains. The proximity to water makes the area lush and green. Hike, cycle, or take a stroll to the village along the walking trail that runs by the house. You can also just enjoy the sound of the river running through the valley and the sheep who graze it’s pastures. The house is situated one hour from Faro’s airport, about 30 minutes from the southern shore beaches (Portimão, Alvor) and 45 minutes drive from the western shore (Aljezur).
